Virginia Louise Fryman's Obituary
Virginia Louise Fryman, 99, passed away January 27, 2026, in Collierville, Tennessee. She was born October 19,1926 in Waldenburg, Arkansas to Lee and Adelia Boyd. She graduated from Waldenburg High School in 1946 where she met her future husband, Keg Fryman. They married after his return from World War II. She was a founding member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN. She retired from Sears and Robuck, Co after 40 years of service. Although retired, she continued to work as a docent at Cook Convention Center, Feed the Needy, and the Orpheum Theatre until age of 90.
She is survived by her children, Edward Fryman (Elizabeth) and Paula Johnson (Keith); grandchildren, Christopher Fryman (Anna), Brittany Fryman and Mary Caple (Quinn); and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Lin Fryman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolla Edward Fryman of 40 years and son John Edward Fryman.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on February 2, 2026, at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
