Virgina Perry Armacost's Obituary
Virginia Perry Armacost Virginia Perry Armacost passed away on May 12, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on March 15, 1938, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Frank Malcolm Perry and Dorothy Eddins Perry.
Virginia graduated from Central High School in Memphis and from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. On May 7, 1966, she was joined in marriage to James Ward Armacost, Sr. of Westminster, Maryland.
A lifelong Memphian, Virginia worked in advertising after college before becoming a full-time mother. She was an avid gardener and later held positions with Dixon Gallery & Gardens and Memphis Botanic Garden. She was a member of Mullins United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Virginia is survived by her two sons, James Armacost, Jr. and William Armacost, and her two grandchildren, Park and Ivy Armacost.
She is also survived by her sister, Anne Ramer.
Services are currently pending at the moment and will be published, once available.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Virginia’s memory to Mullins United Methodist Church in Memphis.
