Vincent Kee's Obituary
Vincent L. Kee passed away peacefully and was surrounded by loved ones on the evening of August 6, 2017.Vincent is known for his hard work ethic which helped him to start his own pest control company. Kee Pest Control will remain family-owned, according to his wishes, and will continue his legacy of quality work and great customer service.Vincent was a proud graduate of Austin Peay University and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Vince was always willing to help out a friend or family member and those who knew him well know that they could go to him for help if they needed it. He spent many years coaching football, baseball, and basketball and all of his players still remember Coach Kee.Vince fulfilled his dream of building a home in Hardy, Arkansas and enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying nature. He loved to feed the birds, deer and turkey, but shoot the squirrels, which garnered him the nickname “Elmer Fudd.”Vincent was part of a big and loving family. He leaves behind his daughter Stacey (Andy) and Jennifer (Jeremy) and son Steve. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren; Dakotah, Zealand, Reagan, Loren, Kirsten, Emma, and Abbey. He was preceded in death by his brother Tommy and leaves behind his brothers Bobby, Larry, King, David and Doug, and his sisters Linda, Diane, and Grace.Although Vince will be missed very much there is comfort and peace in knowing he is no longer in pain from cancer, which he battled with great perseverance and bravery. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, and medical staff which compassionately helped him through his journey.The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the service to follow immediately at 1:00 p.m at Memorial Park “Behind the Stone Wall” . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vince’s favorite charity: St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
