Vicky Perry Ivy's Obituary
Vicky Perry Ivy, born December 5, 1930, entered the gates of "Gloryland" December 27, 2024.She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Drummonds, Tennessee until she no longer could physically attend.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her
Also, she will be missed by all that knew and cared for her at Kings Daughters and Sons in Bartlett, Tennessee where she was known as the "Bingo Queen". Our family is so grateful for the love and care they gave her for the past two years.
She attended Humes High School. After marrying and having children at a young age, she was a stay-at-home mom with her four children throughout our years of growing up.
In later years, she worked for Wesley Highland Manor as a nurse's assistant for 19 years before retiring. She loved when her children and grandchildren would visit her so she could share her many lifelong experiences throughout her life, especially about her meeting Elvis Presley.
Vicky is survived by her children; Ginger Hopkins (Jeff), Penny Shemwell (Jimmy), Mark Perry (Melissa), daughter-in-law Debbie Perry, stepson Tim Ivy, her grandchildren Christi Hopkins, Gina Lester, Brock Shemwell, Cameron Shemwell, Bronson Perry, and Kelsey Carlton, Richard (Jamie) Perry, Jenna Perry, Morgan Bowser, Jason, Bronson. Also, her great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Jack and Sadie Lester, Brent and Sadie Carlton, Maggie and Kennedi Perry, Collins and Kinsleigh Bowser.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vauctres and Victor Ronesburg, her husband Harry Perry: her second husband Larkin Ivy (she was blessed to have two wonderful men in her life), also her first born beloved son, Harry Eugene Perry, her brother, Gene Rosenburg and one grandson, Joseph Perry.
While Vicky will be greatly missed by her family, they are comforted knowing that she is in the arms of Jesus and with her loved ones that have gone before her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held privately.
