Verlin Marvin Bell's Obituary
Verlin Marvin Bell, 71, of Memphis passed away Saturday July 9, 2011 at Memphis Jewish Home. He was a native of Belzoni, MS, retired from the U.S. Postal Service, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Belzoni, MS. Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sudie Mitchell Bell; son and his wife, Marvin & Ramona Bell of Cordova; grandchildren, Haley & Jordan Bell of Cordova; preceded in death by his grandson, Joel Bell; and is also survived by his sister, Laquita Neill of Carrollton, MS. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at 2:30 p.m., Monday July 11, 2011 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Fireside Chapel-Memphis.
