Vanessa Ann Parker's Obituary
Vanessa Ann Parker, 62, gained her angel wings on August 9, 2022, after battling a recurrence of breast cancer. During her last days, like much of her battle with breast cancer, she was surrounded by love and support from her family.

She leaves behind five sisters, Dorthy Love (Leroy), Emma Nichols, Earlene Nichols, Shelia Nichols, and Jacqueline Nichols, and two brothers, Anthony Worthm and Lonnie Nichols.
Vanessa Ann Parker was a generous, loving, and supportive mother. She has five children, David Dewayne Gray Sr, Darryl Collins, Datrell Collins, Shatell Parker, and Veronica Parker.
In Mark 10, Jesus says the greatest among us is a servant. Service was at the center of Vanessa’s life. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, and serve anyone around her in any way she could. She served in Memphis City Schools as a custodial worker for many years. By God’s grace, she surrendered her life to Christ in her late fifties, bearing much fruit in her latter years.
