My mother, Mildred Currie, says Valinda was so smart that one day the Olive Branch bridge club was playing at Oraphine’s home on Pigeon Roost when Valinda, at four years old , stood behind my mom and announced…Mildred has an Ace of spades to all of the bridge club….how cute!!!
I ALWAYS remember Valinda as the little girl who lived in the home on Pigeon Roost that I lived in as a baby.In her room was a picture of children crossing a bridge with angels leading them..My heart is sad for her family. We will always hold dear the sweet memories.
