Valentina Kosheleva's Obituary
Mabel Inez Lindsey Orman Fisher lived and served the Lord for the 88 years. She was in this world before he Lord called his faithful servant home on May 8, 2010. Mrs. Fisher was retired from Sears after 27 years of service. She was also a member of Colonial Baptist Church. Mabel always made an impression on every person she met and made many friends during her lifetime. Mabel “Granny” was a very unique individual and your life was changed just by knowing her. Mrs. Fisher was preceded by her husband of 39 years, James Landreth Fisher. Mabel and Jim were active members of the Good Sam Club-Golden Chapter where they enjoyed traveling in their RV and seeing new places and meeting new people. Mabel leaves behind a daughter, Grady Mae Orman Osborne of Memphis, TN and two sons, James Roy Fisher and his wife Jean of Houston, Alabama and William Robert Fisher and his wife Cindy of Jackson, TN. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. We love you and miss you Granny but our hearts are filled with precious memories. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar from 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
