Valentin "Cuba" Martinez's Obituary
Valentin “Cuba” Martinez, 68, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He who hailed from Cuba. Mr. Martinez was a proud resident of Roosevelt, New York, before moving to Memphis, TN. He was the esteemed proprietor of Best Sound, located in Orange Mound.
Mr. Martinez was an avid cook and cherished spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Martinez relished the company of his friends during his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kisha Bryant, six children Valentin Martinez, Jr., of Puerto Rico, Marlon Martinez, of Florida, Tahira Martinez, of Washington, DC, Laron Moon, Vaisha Martinez, Romeo Martinez all of Memphis, TN, one sister, Clementina Martinez of Cuba, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the service time at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. May his memory be a source of comfort and solace to those who knew and loved him.
