Aunt Valene was so cool when I was little. I loved going with her, she had gum all the time, took us to fancy places to eat, the best make-up to get into, and cracked me up with stuff she would say, hand on her hip, laughing, and acted like a firecracker, lol. She is definitely a one of a kind “Aunt”. She made us all feel so loved and we had the best time with her. Aunt Valene you are loved and missed very much.Stacy

The world was blessed with my (great-great) Aunt’s wild spirit and kind soul for 95 years. I never expected any less sass than a hand on her hip and smile on her face. Even when her situation wasn’t the best, we knew a mischievous grin or sly comment was just under the surface. She looked at the world with her beautiful eyes held wide, and we know from many stories she lived life to its fullest. We will always love and miss you Aunt Valene
