Trudy Lynn Hampton's Obituary
Trudy Lynn Hampton was born March 2, 1962 to the late Rosemarie Porter Hampton and John Tyler Hampton. She was confirmed professing her faith in Christ at Calvary Lutheran Church at an early age. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Some of the interests, that kept her busy, were cake decorating, knitting, dancing, and enjoying a good laugh.
Trudy completed her education earning a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Education. Upon her retirement from Federal Express, she embarked on a second career as a Pre-K Special Education teacher, where she loved teaching little ones, until health conditions necessitated her leaving the classroom.
Trudy’s husband, Cedric Perkins, along with her mother and father, preceded her in death. Trudy leaves to mourn her passing, her only sibling Terence Hampton, Sr.; three nieces: Ayanna Hampton, Gwendolyn Hampton, and Jada Hampton; two nephews: John Hampton and Terence Hampton Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
