Troy C Goode's Obituary
Troy C. Goode, age 30, of Cordova, Tennessee, died Saturday, July 18. 2015. Troy was born August 21, 1984, the son of Nikki Charlton Goode and Ron Goode. He married Kelli Crenshaw on November 29, 2008. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Kelli, 15 month old son Ryan, parents Nikki and Ron Goode of Memphis, sister Lesley Ann Goode of Memphis, his aunt Beverly Douglas (Frank) of Sandy Springs, Georgia, godparents Kathy and Larry Ray of Buchanan, Tennessee, and Kelli’s mother Mary Crenshaw Schaible (Todd) as well as many other family members and friends.Troy attended Christian Brothers University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering with honors. After graduating from CBU, Troy worked as a chemical engineer for Memphis-based nexAir, one of the largest distributors of atmospheric gases and welding supplies in the United States. As a plant engineer, Troy custom-designed a 3,500 square-foot hydrogen gas plant operating in Memphis and his achievements have been mentioned in many industry related publications. Troy was an animal lover and volunteered his time for United Way.Troy was an avid fan of live music, he and Kelli traveled all around the world to see their favorite band, Widespread Panic. Troy was so excited to be able to see the Grateful Dead for the first time, at Soldier Field in Chicago, over the Fourth of July. He loved art, riding his bike, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Atlanta Braves.Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m. and the funeral will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, in Memphis, Tennessee.
