I loved to hear him say “Hey Darlin’.” Every time I called him to book a deposition, that was the reaction I got when he knew who I was. It made my day.I recall a time when Tommy was in the office for a deposition and we chatted beforehand. Susan had been going through the old “should I change my” put in the appropriate noun (hair style, color, clothes) mood that all women have at times and Tommy was saying he thought Susan was perfect just the way she was. It was obvious he was crazy about her. I believe his exact words were “I think Susan is gorgeous!” I was touched at how enamored he was with his wife.Tommy was a true southern gentleman. He was a one-of-fellow and the world is poorer without him.
