in honor of Tommie.
Our lives have been immeasurably enriched by Tommie's presence. As John's sister, I was initially anxious when he announced his engagement (after all, who would be good enough for my "baby brother"? However all fears were relieved as I got to know, appreciate and love my sister-in-law. She was a keen observer of her surroundings and all people she encountered. As a wife and mother she incorporated elements of both her family and ours into the home she made for John, K.C., Brant and Lindsey. We were in awe of her creativity and skill in tackling all sorts of projects, and she inspired us as we created our home decor. As I look around our home I see her presence everywhere. We will miss her, but her presence will always be felt.
