Timothy Albert DeLucia's Obituary
Timothy Albert DeLucia of Memphis, Tennessee was born on January 10, 1988 and died on September 21, 2022.
Timothy was a proud graduate of Nina Harris Special Needs School in Pinellas Park, Florida, where he was fondly remembered by his nickname "Smiley" because of his ever beaming face and personality. He enjoyed Special Olympics, sailing, music of every genre, Boy Scouts, and all family occasions, particularly holidays. In recent years, he spent many happy hours on outings with his SRVS family.
He is survived by his mother, Brooke B. DeLucia and his sister, Michelle Allison DeLucia. He was especially devoted to both of them. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. DeLucia.
Timothy is also survived by his grandfather, James E. Broughton, Sr., and his uncles, Mark D. Broughton (Fay Beth) and Matthew S. Broughton (Thanh) and by five cousins: Alexander Broughton, Elizabeth Broughton, Catherine Broughton, Dallas Broughton, and Kaitlyn Broughton. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kay T. Broughton and uncle, James E. Broughton, Jr.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at the The Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, 2300 Hickory Crest Drive in Memphis on October 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. preceded by a period of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Timothy's uncles and cousins will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38119
