Those who knew Tim would tell you that he was hard working, loved his family, and would help anyone who asked. He retied after over 40 years of service as a maintenance manager with Mid-America Apartment Communities where he was known to go above and beyond for his residents and co-workers. If you needed something fixed, you called Tim. He loved camping, fishing, old western movies and spending time with his family. His grandchildren especially held a special place in his heart.
His youngest son, Jack will remember him as selfless man who was always there for them and anyone in need. His daughter, Adrienne will always be daddy's little girl and holds a special memory for the nickname he gave both her and her daughter, Buttercup. His son, Will recalls many fond memories of camping and how loving and kind he was. He will always be remembered for how he loved his family, his gentle spirit, and his ability to make any of his grandchildren feel safe and put them right to sleep.
He will be missed by many and the family asks that you share your memories of him and keep his loving, caring spirit alive in that way. Tim would remind us to always speak to strangers with kindness and share your smile with anyone you meet.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in his honor to one of his two chosen charities, The Union Mission in Memphis, TN or The Salvation Army.
