Thomas Benner Wiygul's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our precious son, Thomas, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at just one year old. Born on March 28, 2025, in Memphis, TN, he brought joy and love to his family from the very first moment.
Thomas was a sweet, cheerful little boy with a contagious smile and laugh. His beautiful brown eyes sparkled with innocence and curiosity, bringing happiness to all who knew him.
As Thomas learned to crawl, climb, and walk, he loved rambunctious play with his brothers and the best snuggles with Mom and Dad. He loved getting into the kitchen cabinets, finding snacks in the pantry, and even unloading the dishwasher. Thomas enjoyed “helping” Mom and Dad make dinner by handing coffee pods to them one at a time. His playful spirit and determination made every day an adventure, and these precious memories will be cherished forever.
While we grieve his loss, we take comfort in God's promise that we will see him again. We rejoice in knowing that our precious baby boy is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by the love of his great-grandparents in Heaven.
Thomas will always be remembered by his parents, Drew Wiygul and Casey Lieder; brothers, Carson and Robert; grandparents, Mark Wiygul, Jan Wiygul, and Doris Donohue, aunt and uncle Lauren and Peter Riley (William, Andrew, and Neal). Though we miss him deeply, his memory will forever be a treasured gift, and his light will continue to shine in our hearts until we meet again.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." — Matthew 19:14
