Thomas Jerry Turner's Obituary
Thomas Jerry Turner, 79, of Memphis, passed away on August 07, 2018 at Methodist Residence Hospice. Mr. Turner graduated from Treadwell High School and enlisted into the Army where he played in the Army Band for three years. He was also a graduate of Memphis State University. Mr. Turner was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. He spent his career in property management and retired from Makowsky Ringel and Greenberg. His favorite hobby was playing golf. He was the son of John and Frances Turner, who preceded him in death. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Wray Turner, one daughter, June Turner Hurt, one sister, Lera Hardin of Jefferson City, MO. After cremation there will be a memorial visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
