Thomas Edward Talley's Obituary
Thomas Edward Talley, 75, February 23, 2015. Mr. Talley was heavily involved in the real estate community for 45 years. He served in various leadership roles including president of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors, president of Tennessee Association of Realtors. He also held various positions at the national level including two term Director for the National Association of Realtors. During his real estate career he earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation and was actively involved in hotel development. Mr. Talley was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Talley; son, Cotten Volman; and brother, Jerry Talley. He is survived by his children, Dawn Dalton (Chuck), Dana Long (Andy), Matt Talley (Laura), and Jason Talley (Holly); sister, Kay Poindexter (Jerry); daughter-in-law, Virginia Volman; 13 grandchildren; and loving companion, Sondra Biggs. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 27 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
