Thomas Michael Goff's Obituary
Mike Goff, 74, of Memphis, passed away on April 9, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. For 51 years, he stood beside his beloved wife, Anne, with a quiet devotion and unshakeable love. Their marriage was a true partnership – rooted in respect, steadied by time, and filled with deep affection.
He was a proud father of 3- Emily (Jake), David (Kristina), and Andrew who knew him as a calm presence, a gentle heart, and a man whose love was constant, even if unspoken. Also a proud grandfather, Mike found happiness in watching them grow up. Max and Presley will miss him greatly and Justice has welcomed him into Heaven.
Before retiring, he worked as a food scientist for Flavorite Laboratories, a role that matched his thoughtful nature and sharp mind. After retiring, he found joy in the small things – watching Tiger football and basketball games, spending time at home, and simply being near the people he loved.
He wasn’t loud, but he was always there. The kind of man who showed up, stayed steady, and never asked for recognition. His quiet presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14 at 10:00am at St. Anne Church on Highland followed by funeral Mass at 11:00am. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to honor his memory by enjoying a quiet moment with someone you love.
