What a truly good natured person Tom was while physically living among us. He was trustworthy and very kind during my tenure with him. He was guilty of calling me out of the blue, just to ask how I was doing. No pretense with him. I wish I could have spent more time with him. He was the type of man that would allow you to be your true self. Not only that, he had a talent to pull the authentic you away from the awkward facade we so typically open with around people.
