Our Dear Theresa was loved by all who knew her, and she and Mr. Larry became like surrogate grandparents to us. She always had a smile on for us when we came in the door, and rarely complained except for her knees that gave her trouble. She enjoyed talking to her beloved dog, Willie. She liked to watch the birds out her window, listen to Savannah play her piano, and we related the busy events of our days to her, which she relished in the children’s day to day activities. She called me her ‘ladybird’ & I cherished our time together. I can think of no one I had rather spend my days with than her, as her calm steady demeanor and good humor became a reminder of what is important in this life. Whether it be just a kiss on the forehead, held hands as we prayed together, or just sharing a good meal in each other’s company–it’s our time spent with loved ones that matter most. Ms. Theresa was an angel on earth, who no doubt has earned her wings in Heaven. We will miss her so much. Loving thoughts and prayers go out to all her family, and especially to Mr. Larry at this sad time. May you find comfort in knowing she is whole again, mind and body. Candice Hamilton and family
