Theresa Marie Van Horn Grecco's Obituary
Theresa Marie (Van Horn) Grecco, age 54, passed on December 26, 2011 peacefully in her home in Germantown, TN with her family. She courageously battled a long term illness and in the process showed us all how to live life to the fullest. Her love of life and her fellow man exemplifies being strong in the Lord and his mighty power. Theresa was born October 18, 1957 in Memphis, TN to Gene and Janie Van Horn. She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Dan Grecco, two children, Louis and Claire, her mother, Janie Van Horn, and three brothers, Alan, David and Danny Van Horn. The funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (OLPH), 8151 Poplar Ave., Germantown, TN 38138, Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. A wake will be held Wednesday evening at OLPH at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the OLPH Women’s Guild. We are all saddened by the loss of our wife, mother, daughter and sister but are confident that through Christ she has won her battle and is now at rest with the Lord.
