Thelma Lynch's Obituary
Thelma Mae lynch of Memphis, TN died peacefully March 24th, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born in Pontiac Michigan on May 5th 1928, the daughter of Albert and Larena Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Richard, and her sister Joyce LaBarge, and two step brothers. She moved to Memphis in 1946 at 18 years old to start a new life. She met the love of her life and married Richard Lynch Sr. In 1948. They were happily married for 58 years. They raised seven children together. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as nephews and nieces. Her entire focus was her family. The most unselfish person one could meet. She gave everything she had to better the lives of everyone around her. Thelma instilled all of the qualities and values of a truly devout Christian lady. The angels in heaven are rejoicing! She leaves her children Richard Lynch(Paula), Michael Lynch(Barbara) Charles Lynch(Sue),Terry Lynch, Timothy Lynch(Carol) Linda F Cummins (Walter) Christopher Lynch(Lizbeth)Robyn Lynch. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31 at Memorial Park funeral home on Poplar from 5:00- 8:00PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM on Wednesday, April 1 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 203 S. White Station Rd. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Catholic Charities of West Tn., or the charity of donors choice.
