Thelma Irene Brasuell's Obituary
Thelma Irene Brasuell, 92, passed away on November 17, 2022. Her parents were Carlton and Laura
Walmsley of Texarkana, AR. She was married to H.R. Brasuell, who preceded her in death, the love of
her life for 58 years. Also preceded in death were her brother William Ralph Walmsley and sisters
Arlene Schneider and Martha Boatman. Her life was full of love and she truly made a difference in
everyone she met. She enjoyed her Sunday school class and calling on her homebound friends that
she checked on weekly. She was proud mother of four sons Randy C. Brasuell (deceased), Dale
Brasuell (Carroll), Darryl Robert Brasuell and Kevin Wayne Brasuell (Meg). She was the fun loving
Mamaw to her grandchildren Michael Brasuell (Heather), Mark Brasuell (Lynzee), Shelby Brazzel,
Hannah Weatherford (Hunter), Tanner Brasuell, Clay Brasuell, Brandon Brasuell and 5 great
grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home located at
5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN. 38119. Visitation will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm with a service
following at 1:00 pm in their Riverside Chapel. Brother David Love of Ridgeway Baptist Church will
officiate.
