Thedral Doyle Chambers' Obituary
Thedral Doyle Chambers, 66, of Memphis, TN passed away on July 7, 2024. Thedral was a member of Elliston Baptist Church and graduated from Elliston Baptist Academy in 1975.
Her life was defined when she became a mother to Greg and Derrick. Her love and compassion were evident by how many of Greg and Derrick's friends called her mom. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a home cooked meal, a place to spend the night or stay for months. She is survived by her husband, Jerry “J.C.” Chambers, two sons, Greg and Derrick Hubbard, two sisters, Daline Doyle and Paula Doyle Weaver (Bob), and one aunt, Lucy West, two fur babies, Frost and Rainy. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her parents, Dalhart and Betty Doyle.
She was always a large presence in any situation. Her bubbling personality and large, beautiful blue eyes brightened any room she entered. She was a fighter, proven by health issues she battled for so many years. She won battles, proven by beating all odds. Thedral was a born-again Christian, and the Lord knew she was tired and deserved eternal rest. She will be missed by all that loved her. Her pain stops here and now, ours will never go away.
Grief is the price we pay for love.
The visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
