Theda Dalfiume Manning's Obituary
Theda Dalfiume Manning, 93, of Germantown, TN, passed away on May 10, 2011. She was born in Eudora, Arkansas on April 27, 1918 to Albert and Katie Haley. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lutcher Francis Dalfiume and Wilson H. Manning, and six of her siblings. Mrs. Manning is survived by her children, Dr. Richard M. Dalfiume and his wife Jane of Lenexa, KS, Frances Dalfiume Prochaska and her husband Mark of Brentwood, CA, Tim Dalfiume and his wife Cathy of Germantown, TN, and Terry Manning and his wife Betty of Georgetown, IL. She will always be lovely known as “Thedie” by her nine grandchildren, Andy, Emily, Katie, Tony, and Wes Prochaska of Brentwood, CA, Luke Dalfiume and Julia Stutheit of Lenexa, KS, Shelley Hughes of Chicago, IL, and Lisa Colburn of Georgetown, IL, and also nine great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, cook, reader, and loved entertaining people with her jokes. Mrs. Manning was an active member of the Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made in her honor to The American Heart Association, The National Kidney Foundation, or the Memphis Zoo.
