Thai "Phillip" V. Ky's Obituary
- Thai V. Ky, 89, of Germantown, TN, devoted husband,
father, and physician, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife at his
side on November 5th, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Visitation will
initially be held on November , 2023 at AM / PM at Memorial Park
Funeral Home of Memphis, TN. A Catholic ceremony celebrating Thai’s
life will subsequently be conducted on November , 2023 at AM / PM at
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown, TN. The
family respectfully decline accepting flowers, as the presence of close
friends and family members would be sufficient to make Thai happy.

Thai was born on September 15, 1934 in the coastal city of Vinh, province
of Nghe An, northern Vietnam. He married his best friend and lifelong
companion, Nguyet Ky, on March 30th, 1963 in Saigon. He enjoyed
playing music with his guitar or electronic keyboard, gardening with his
wife, and was always passionate about the beauty of the sea. But most of
all, he had deep affection for his family and loved spending time with his
wife, children and grandchildren, as well as other loved ones.
Surviving are his wife Nguyet Ky of Germantown, TN, sons Henry Ky of
Las Vegas, NV and Thang Ky of Vail, Colorado, and granddaughter
Samantha Ky and grandson Matthew Ky both of Las Vegas, NV
The family invites friends for a visitation at Memorial Park Saturday November 11, 2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. .
A Mass will be held Saturday November 11, 2023 at 3:00pm at Our lady of Perpetual Help in Germantown.
