Margie, Garry & Malinda: Carroll and I send love and prayers for your comfort. We’ll always remember Terry’s singing in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church choir while we pastored there 1985-1993. He was so active in Methodist Men and handy in the kitchen. He enjoyed the Oxford Sunday school class and delighted in their annual Christmas Card project that raised funds for needy boys and girls. And, Margie, we’ll never forget what a wonderful church secretary you were at Aldersgate in Memphis. We’re grateful that both of you were 50-plus year members and and faithful laborers for our Lord. Terry and Margie were our neighbors for many many years in Olive Branch ! What a blessing it was to have them and get to know ! Terry never met a stranger , I remember the first story he told me was about him and his son Garry going hunting . Marring the love of his life Margie and many many war stories when he was on a ship ! He could write a poem about anyone .He shared his book with me one day and I told him Terry you could have been writing for Hallmark all these years ! He laughed and of course said no I don’ think so hun . My husband Larry and I cherish his book of poems and rhymes that Terry gave us a few years ago and will continue to do so ! We will miss him dearly and that big smile he always gave us when the sleigh came out at Christmas in the front yard and saying I always know when you are done Larry when the sleigh is out ! Our thoughts and prayers are with Margie and the family . Love Kathy & Larry Garrison
