Terry will be greatly missed. As much as a shock this has been to us and the family, I know she is with Steve, the love of here life Terry was the best sister in-law. She was very funny. And was there for me when I was going through some hard times years ago. I always felt apart of the Gatchell family in one way or another. She will be greatly missed.
Since we started at Little Georgies, Terry was there to receive my son every morning. At first, he was very timid and unsure of his new surroundings. It didn’t take long for him to find comfort and love from Terry. She would greet him every morning by saying, “Good morning, Handsome Guy!” It was no time at all that I would put him on the floor of his classroom and he would run over to her, arms in the air, eagerly ready to be picked up by Terry and kissed on the forehead. She will be greatly missed in our family, especially by our son who loved her so very much.Terry, we will send our love up to Heaven to you everyday.
Terry was so good to my Emily. I always enjoyed chatting with her and Angela every morning as our day began. She was a wise lady, and I know I’ll never forget her. My thoughts and prayers will be with her three children. Sara, Steven and Andrew — she adored each of you. Her eyes sparkled and she smiled every time she spoke of you.
Terry was a force of Nature, a source of endless love and laughter. She had such a steady, uplifting, happy personality; she never failed to make everyone around her smile and sometimes laugh uncontrollably! Her singing voice was heavenly, and she instantly attracted every child in the room.
My favorite quality that Terry had was that she always gave advice from her heart; not sugar coating anything but saying something that would be the most helpful.
She will leave a large hole in my life, but I feel privileged to have been her friend.
When I first met Terry, I knew I could trust her. As time went by, she became a second mother to me. She helped me and my mom in bad times, she had me over for sleepovers when my mom was too injured or sick. I could always talk to her about my problems. She was the sweetest person I know. Even though she is gone, I feel like she is standing right behind me. I love her so much, as much as I miss her. She was like an angel. She always will be.
Dear Steven, Andrew, Sara and the rest of the family,
Although I hadn’t seen your mom in a few years, she will always have a special place in my heart. Terry and I had known each other since we were 14 years old and I’ll have many memories to look back on. I’m sorry that I can’t be there with you, but please know that you are all in my thoughts. Terry was a special person who lived her life on her terms and loved deeply and unconditionally. I will miss her terribly and cherish the times we had together.

Terry was an extraordinary woman. Such a good friend, very funny, a voice heaven sent and loved to use it from sacred music to blue grass to gospel. A giving person who would help when she was given any opportunity. I loved her and will miss her deeply, but know she is in a better place. Prayers continue for her and the family she loved deeply.
