Teresa Lewis' Obituary
Teresa Ludrof Lewis, 90, of Olive Branch, MS, passed peacefully to eternal life on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Methodist Hospice Residence.Teresa was born August 25, 1926, in Pottsville, PA. She grew up in Allentown, PA and graduated from Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating, Teresa served as a Cadet Nurse during WWII at the then Kennedy Hospital in Memphis, TN. She remained employed with the VA Hospital, as an RN, until her retirement in 1981.After retiring, Teresa volunteered for the Senior Link Hotline and Senior Services, Inc. She was a member of the McWherter Senior Center where she loved to play bunco and canasta.Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by Samuel F. Lewis, her husband of 43 years, and by two grandsons: Chad Bobbitt and Chris Harper.She is survived by two daughters, Karen Bobbitt (Mike) and Diane Harper (Sam), two grandchildren, Allison Tribo (Donald) and Daniel Harper (Lialah) and 5 great grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Elena, Dylan and Lennie Mae. Teresa also leaves her sister Jeanne Tilghman and brother Joseph Ludrof, Jr., both of Allentown, PA.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CBHS, for The Charles S.
