Terence Olridge's Obituary
Officer Terence Immanuel Olridge, 31, died October 11, 2015. He was a graduate of Trezevant High School. Officer Olridge earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Lane College and continued his education, earning his Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Officer Olridge joined Memphis Police Department September 22, 2014 and was assigned to the Airways Station after graduating from the Police Academy. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Olridge; daughter, Melia Olridge; fiancée, Shaleda Rozier and unborn child; siblings, Latricssia Selmon, Kimberly Woods, Mia KeShay Olridge, Quinton Olridge, Ken Olridge, and Brenda Olridge; nephews, Antawn Sumerall and Aden Jones; aunts, Juanita McKinnie and Minnie Mayhorn; first cousins, Michael McKinnie, Bishop Summers, Tereese McKinnie, and Wayne McKinnie; future mother-in-law, Annie Smith; as well as his special MPD friend, Kyle Craig. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Olridge. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, October 18 at First Baptist Church Broad, 2835 Broad Ave., Memphis, TN 38112. His service will be at 12 p.m. Monday, October 19 at First Baptist Church Broad, 2835 Broad Ave., Memphis, TN 38112 with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, Tennessee 38119. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
