Teia Lee Tarkington, age 68, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away on March 21, 2026, surrounded by her mother and sister, Carol and Marsha Lee.
Born on November 24, 1957, in Memphis, TN, Teia was the daughter of Jerry and Carol Lee. Throughout their life, she was known for her kindness and Christian faith
Teia devoted many years to her career in social work. Outside of work, she found joy in boating with friends.
Teia is survived by her daughter, Anna Tarkington Schwartz, her mother, Carol Chandler Lee, her siblings, Teresa Lee, Marsha Lee, and Jerry Kenneth Lee, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Teia was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Kenneth Lee, Sr.
A memorial will be held on March 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Kirby Pines Retirement Community.
Teia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
