Tammi Lynn Embry's Obituary
Tammi Lynn Embry, 56, was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on January 9, 1961. She passed away unexpectedly at her parent’s home in Bartlett, Tennessee on Friday September 8, 2017. She always considered Memphis her home even though she lived in Texas for the past 12 years. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael Embry, her children, Matthew Embry and his wife Charlie and Hannah Palmer and her husband Zachary, her grandsons, Liam and Lincoln, her parents, Warren and Geraldine Mulford, her brother Larry Mulford and his wife Cindy and several other immediate family. Since she was a young child, she had a love for cats and always had one sitting in her lap at home. She was well known as NiNi to her two grandsons and very much enjoyed being around them. Tammi was very involved with her church Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. She enjoyed singing in the choir on Sundays, working alongside other people in Friendship International and she was a member of the Harbor bible study class.A memorial service will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Immediately following the service will be a reception at KirbyWoods Baptist Church located at 6325 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.Please consider donating to one of the following charities in her memory: Holt International Adoption Agency National Alliance of Mental Illness Humane Society of the United States
