Suzanne Allen Fouche's Obituary
Suzanne Allen Fouche, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away on April 14, 2026. She was known for her charm, spirited determination, and ability to forge connections with all she met.
Born in Humboldt, Tennessee, on January 6, 1951, Suzanne was the daughter of Buddy and Sue Allen. She grew up in Brazil, Tennessee (or as she called it “God’s Country”). She had a spirited childhood having fun and causing trouble with scores of cousins and friends.
A proud graduate of Peabody High School in 1969, she maintained close friendships with many of her classmates, participating in a monthly lunch with a group of her high school friends. Graduating from Memphis State in 1972, Suzanne began a 30 year career with the Memphis Park Commission. Her work with city youth programs touched countless lives.
On November 11, 1977, Suzanne married the love of her life, Bob Fouche. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Bob preceded her in death but there is no doubt that they are now somewhere dancing.
She was predeceased by her beloved brother Marvin Allen and her parents.
Suzanne's life was marked by her extraordinary ability to connect with others. She truly never met a stranger, and her warm, friendly nature endeared her to many who had the privilege of knowing her. Her charm and determination were matched only by her deep compassion and unwavering support for her family and friends.
She leaves behind her cherished children Leslie and Robert Allen, her son in law John (Ferraro) and her adored grandchildren, Jack and Isabella. Suzanne's family was the pride and joy of her life, and her love for them was boundless and unconditional.
Suzanne's life was a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and love. Her unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held on May 9, 2026, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, located at 5668 Poplar Avenue. Visitation from 12-1 with a short service to follow. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on all our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Baddour Center, an organization close to Suzanne's heart, in the name of her son, Robert Allen Fouche. https://the-baddour-center.snwbll.com/
