Suzan "Sue" Leigh Burrow Bornblum's Obituary
Suzan "Sue" Leigh Burrow Bornblum passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family March 25, 2023.
Sue was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Avis James Burrow and James Dennis Burrow. Sue received a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1979.
Sue married Donald Charles Bornblum in 1979. Together they raised and loved Stefanie (Jason) Bradshaw, Samantha (Jim) McDonough, and Jacob Bornblum. They were the pride and joy of her life. Sue was proud of her five grandchildren: Annabelle Bradshaw, Cash Bradshaw, Micah McDonough, Pyper McDonough, and Lily McDonough.
Sue was the loving and loved baby sister of her three siblings. Dennis Burrow III (deceased), Stephen (Nina) Burrow, and Kathryn (John) Collett. She was the aunt to Megan (Burrow) Poon, James Hansen, and Rachel Burrow.
Sue had a 17-year tenure with Sears in Memphis and later spent 17 years caring for customers at Germantown Carwash. Her greatest joy came from raising her children. She was proud of her grandchildren and was known lovingly a "Lovie". Sue was an animal lover and always loved a dog on her lap.
Her family adored her. And she adored them. Suzan's friends and family remember her smile; quiet, but forceful presence; quick wit; and her loyalty to all of us who loved her.
An indoor visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5th at 1 pm, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Graveside service to follow at 2 pm.
