Susan Mayhall Herrington's Obituary
We celebrate the life of Susan Mayhall Herrington who went to be with the Lord on November 29th, 2024. Susan was born on July 14, 1951, to Rev. Nathaniel and Dorothy Mayhall. She married Ron Herrington on March 6, 1971. They shared 53 years together.
Susan spent her adult years working with preschoolers and in the education system. She loved movies, dining out, Netflix marathons, reading, musicals, Disney World, and Alabama Football. She also loved spending time and investing in the lives of her 5 grandchildren. She was a devout Christan and a faithful member and volunteer of her church community her whole life.
Susan is survived by husband Ron; her children, Jason(Alison) and Jennifer; grandchildren, Emma, Claire, Walker, Mollie, and Olivia who she loved “all the way to the moon and back”. She is also survived by one sister, one brother, multiple nieces, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the children’s ministry of Germantown Baptist Church. Children’s ministry has always held a special place in her heart.
