Susan Field Crutcher's Obituary
Susan Field Crutcher passed away on October 2, 2024 at home surrounded by friends and family after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 2, 1962 in Long Beach, California to William P. B. (Bill) Field, II and Sondra Lynn Reddoch. She is survived by her husband, Franklyn Edward Crutcher of Seaside, Florida, son Blake Field Crutcher (Veronica) and granddaughter Charlotte Olivia Crutcher of Birmingham, AL and brother, William P. B. (Brint) Field, III of Snohomish, Washington.
Susan graduated from Briarcrest Christian School and The University of Memphis with a Master of Business Administration. She was a CPA and specialized in the automotive industry having served as corporate controller and CFO in several states before retiring to Seaside, Florida.
Susan loved horses, from riding in the Germantown horse show to her home in on the yellow river in Georgia, she had horses in her life. Susan also had a passion for southern cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was known far and wide for her cheese grits. She was a member of the AICPA, the state CPA societies of Tennessee, Georgia, Iowa and Arkansas, as well as The Union League Club of Chicago and Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Chapel service on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
