Sondra Jean Sullivan
I am probably the oldest living person who has known Sully Dale all of his life. I am the oldest of five cousins and Sully was the youngest. He was my baby. During a long visit I was in third grade and in school. Every afternoon as soon as I got home from school I gave him his bottle, changed him, played and took him a walk. One day w hen I was about an hour late because I. Had attended a Brownie Scout meeting. My mother and Sully’s mother were frantic because Sully had fussed and cried from the time I normally got home. They immediately told me to do something with “my baby”! Thus was our bond sealed.
Sully was the sweetest, funniest, calmest child. Being the youngest brother, he often had a bit of a hard time, but he just took it pretty calmly calmly most of the time.
Sully was in my wedding when he was 13 years old. He was so sweet and so handsome. Unfortunately, geography has not allowed us to spend enough time together, but I have thought of him so often. I will always love him. My sister, Jan, also loved him dearly. Sadly, Jan passed away last March. Oddly, the oldest Tucker brother and the oldest Sullivan sister are the only cousins left.
Linda, I would love to talk to you when you feel like it and have time. Since I do not have your number, please call m e. My number is: (832’) 962-8186.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings and peace for all of you.
