Steven Anthony Tutor's Obituary
Steven Anthony Tutor, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on February 12, 1991, Steven brought joy, laughter, and warmth into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Steven attended Christ School in Asheville, NC, where he forged lifelong friendships and began building the foundation for his compassionate and adventurous spirit. His journey in higher education took him to the University of Colorado at Boulder and later the University of Memphis, where he proudly earned his degree.
Steven's professional life was dedicated to creating joy and connection for others through boating. As a sales manager at two Marine Sales dealerships, he helped countless families experience the fun and fellowship of water sports and boating.
Known for his extraordinary ability to bring people together, Steven had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen and valued. His love for life was contagious, his kindness boundless, and his laughter uplifting. Whether it was a quiet conversation or a joyous celebration, Steven's presence made every moment brighter.
Steven's greatest pride and joy was his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, April Brown Tutor, and their cherished three-year-old daughter, Evelyn "Evie" Michelle Tutor, whose lives he filled with love and laughter. He is also survived by his loving parents, Mike Tutor and Ruth Tutor, and his brother, Jonathan Tutor.
A visitation to honor Steven's life will be held on Thursday, January 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Park. A private graveside burial will follow for immediate family only.
