Steven D Morse's Obituary
Steven Davis Morse was born December 26, 1946, in Memphis, TN the son of Taylor D. Morse, II and Louise Davis Morse. He died early Sunday morning February 6th at his home in Memphis. Steve was predeceased by his parents, his brother Taylor D. Morse, III and his sister Carolyn Ann Morse.
After graduating from high school Steve enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Following basic training in San Diego, CA, he spent most of the next four years in Patuxent River, Maryland, with winters in Bermuda. During this time he frequently visited his sister and her housemate Mary Ballard who lived in Arlington, Virginia. When Carolyn and Mary retired from the FBI then moved to Memphis in 1996 and invited Steve to live with them in the home they built. He was content with this arrangement and happy to care for their cats when they traveled. He will be greatly missed by Mary, his nephew Taylor D. Morse IV, and niece Heather Locke, as well as his grand nieces and nephews.
At Steve’s request there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
