Stephen Michael Prentiss, 64, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home in Germantown, Tennessee peacefully.He follows his Father, James Prentiss and his Mother Helen Prentiss. He leaves his 5 children, Hayley Varner (Daughter), Steve Prentiss, Jr. (Son), Jordan Prentiss (Son), Abby Prentiss (Daughter), and Cole Prentiss (Son), 4 grandchildren; Aly Varner, Morgan Varner, and Mason Varner, and Finley Prentiss, as well as 4 Siblings, Bobbin Franklin (Sister), Suzi Prentiss (Sister), Jim Prentiss Jr. (Brother), and Becky Melton (Sister).Born in Charleston, West Virginia. Attended school at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Has lived in Memphis, Tennessee for the last 36 years, where he owned and operated numerous food and beverage establishments.The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24 from 1:30-2:30PM with the Memorial Service to follow immediately at 2:30PM. All services will be held at Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital..
