He was born September 5, 1949 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was 66 years old. He died July 1, 2016. He was a Vietnam Veteran, Honorable Discharge. His parents were Martha Louise Sudduth and Lt. Col. William Louis Scott. He was raised by his grandparents, Bill and Ally Scott. He attained two associate degrees from State Tech, now Southwest Tennessee Community College of Memphis. He married Karen on May 6, 2000. Children to Mourn… Russell (son) and his daughters, Abby and Olivia Lucy (daughter) and her children, Jaden and Alyssa and son-in-law, Reggie David (son) and his sons, Mickey and Wyatt and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Siblings to mourn… Linda Marble (sister), Bobby Scott (brother), Ronald and Donald Scott (half-brothers), M’liss Sudduth (half-sister), Curt Sudduth (half-brother) He was Director of Maintenance and Vehicles at Southeast Mental Health Center until 2000, after an accident left him unable to work. He was also Co-owner of K & S Cleaning Service. Burial will be 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 12 at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill/Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125, 901-543-7005. While Scotty was in Vietnam, he was a Tunnel Rat. He received the Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne Jump Wings, Silver Star, twice-received Bronze Star with V Device with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal, Army Commendation , Vietnam Cross of Gallantry Medals. He loved Pittsburg Steelers Football. He had his own funny, sense of humor.
