Stephen Croxdale's Obituary
Stephen A. Croxdale, 71, passed away on January 18, 2018. He is survived by his wife Roxanna, three sons, Sean (Jenifer), Christopher (Ashley),and Timothy (Jackie); four grandchildren Jackson, Lillian, Chance and Kingston; and his sister Tracy Rollheiser. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Helen Croxdale. Steve graduated from Christian Brothers High School. He received his Civil Engineering degree from Christian Brothers College and a masters degree from Stanford University. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Military Engineers and the Engineers Club of Memphis of which he was the secretary. Steve was also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee. Steve retired from the Memphis District of the Corps of Engineers in 2003. His last position was as revetment coordinator in River Operations. He was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. Steve also taught Developmental Math at Southwest Community College and enjoyed tutoring students in his spare time. His zest for life and fun loving personality is what he will be remembered for. But, his main priority was the love and pride of his family. He will be dearly missed! The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until his service begins at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
