Stacie A. Carlson's Obituary
Stacie A. Carlson, 49 years young, passed away at her home in Cordova, Tennessee on November 10, 2020. She was born in 1971 at St. Joseph Hospital - Memphis. Stacie attended and graduated from First Assembly Christian School in 1989. Except for a two year period that she lived near Orlando, Florida with her family, she always lived in the Greater Memphis area.
Stacie had previously been married to Brian Carlson. They had one daughter together, Piper, who was the absolute light of her life. Stacie and Piper loved spending time together and would laugh and giggle until the wee hours of the morning, watching classic 80’s films and cheesy horror movies together. Stacie and Piper also loved just driving around town for fun, and gas station hot dogs!
Throughout her career, Stacie enjoyed working at veterinary hospitals the most. Taking care of everyone’s pets and making sure that they were happy too, was a lifelong passion for her. In her spare time she enjoyed designing and creating artistic jewelry, as well as collecting Pandora bracelets. She was a devoted Disney fan and of course she always enjoyed her daily Starbucks!
Preceding her in death was her mother, Beverly Tillman Lewis of Covington, Tennessee and her father, Ralph Edward Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee.
Stacie is survived by her daughter Piper, and her ginormous fur baby, Malakai. She also is survived by her younger Brother, Derrick Lewis (Rachel) of Bartlett, Tennessee, her Aunt, Sandra Cochran (Gene), and Grandmother, Denera Tillman, both of Cordova, Tennessee.
Arrangements have been entrusted, and a private service for her family will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Stacie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
