I worked with and for Sonny for 35 years at MCCA and Equifax. He was one of a kind. His humor and his singing entertained all who knew him. He was a great co-worker and boss and a better friend. Shelia and Jeffery, my prayers are with you both. He will be missed by all of us who loved him
Sonny was one of the most awesome people I have ever met. He was a great friend and a great partner in our banking endeavors. I considered him a dear friend and I will always remember him as long as I have breathe. The nights we sang together, played golf, and attended Cardinal games will always be a special memory for me. Sonny was a truly a unique individual and will be missed. So talented, wise and caring, I treasure all the time we got to spend together in business, baseball and just having fun. He made a big impact on many people and certainly did on me. Not only did we work together in our business careers-serving on many industry committees together, but he also helped us bring a new level of youth baseball to our community in Baton Rouge modeled after so much of what he achieved in Germantown.
