Shirley B. Walker passed away peacefully on August 11, 2009, surrounded by her family.She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles B. Walker; her daughter, Barbara Edwards; son-in-law, Don Edwards; daughter-in-law, Annie Charbonnet Walker; grandson, Kyle Walker; and sister and brother-in-law June and Paul Casman. Her beloved son, Steven A. Walker, predeceased her last year.Visitation and Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009, in the chapel at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road. Visitation will begin at 10:00am; services will be at 11:00.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Trinity Hospice, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, or the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County.
