Shirley Mae Redd (2/3/1945-9/17/2023)
Shirley Mae Redd, 78 of Memphis, Tennessee died on September 17, 2023.
She was born in Vandale, Arkansas to Ray Jerry Redd and Rosieander Dillard Redd. She graduated from the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff and taught Typing and Business at West Memphis High School for 32 years. She was a faithful member of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church for over two decades. She was a Sunday School teacher, missionary and tutored elementary students in reading.
Shirley was preceded in death by her siblings David Redd, Dorothy Clay and joe Nathan Redd, Sr.
She is survived by her sister, Rosetta Redd Moore. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her.
Services for Shirley will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12:30pm at Third Day Fellowship Church in Southaven, Mississippi. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
