Shirley Halford's Obituary
Shirley Ann Halford, 76, died Friday, July 2, 2010 in Cordova. Mrs. Halford was a faithful Methodist. She attended Asbury United Methodist Church and participated in the United Methodist Women’s Group. She was a Registered Dietician at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Downtown Memphis for 34 years. Mrs. Halford is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Halford Sr.; her son, Robert Lee Halford Jr.; her daughter, Luanne Payne (Michael) of Cordova; her brother, Robert Hardy Quarles (Susan) of Cordova; her 3 grandchildren, Lara Payne, Holly Payne, and Christopher Payne. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 12:30-2:00 . Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park. Interment will be at Memorial Park SouthWoods Cemetery.
