Shirley Alvarez's Obituary
Shirley Connell Alvarez, 72, passed away April 19, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son, Benjie Alvarez and is survived by her husband of 51 years, Aquilino Alvarez; daughter, Ann- Jannetta Alvarez (Robert) Gooch; grandchildren, Joshua Pack and Alaia Gooch. Shirley also leaves her sisters, Evelyn Reynolds, Peggy Henson, Betty Billingsley and brother, Bobby Connell. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m., all being held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
